Bridget Conley

Dear Family,

Hello! My name is Bridget Conley and I am a 19 year old girl from the Poolesville, Maryland, USA. I am currently studying to become a nurse at the Catholic University of America. I go to school in the nation's capitol, Washington, D.C., and I am First-Aid and CPR certified. I love my nursing studies and look forward to being able to directly care for patients in a hospital setting. As a nursing major in my studies thus far, I have received a lot of basic training in first-aid and pathophysiology.
I am a very outgoing and bubbly person and I am looking for an Au-Pair position for my summer break this year. I am a people person and love to talk and learn about new things. I long to be a well-traveled and cultured individual. I come from a family of 6 children and have been surrounded by and cared for children of all ages my entire life. I absolutely love to be around children and have worked with every age group from newborn to 14 years old. While attending my university, I have also done a lot of volunteer work with abused children and these experiences have enabled my studies in working with children.
I am a Roman Catholic and active in my faith. In my free time I love to cook, sing, watch movies, shop, and enjoy any fun event with friends and family. My hometown is out in the country which is peaceful and quiet, however while attending school I live in a young and vibrant city. I love all aspects of both of these places.
Although I am not completely fluent, I love the Spanish language and my studies in it have led to my appreciation for all cultures. I love to learn about and hope to visit as many different places over the world in my lifetime as possible. I feel that an Au Pair position would be the perfect way for me to experience new places while doing the thing that I love most, interacting with children.

Hello! My name is Bridget Conley and I am a 19 year old from Poolesville, Maryland, USA. I am currently in my second year of studying to be a nurse at the Catholic University of America in the USA capitol of Washington, D.C. I am the fourth of child of a family of 6 and have been surrounded by children of all ages my entire life. I like to think that my first babysitting began at the age of 4 when my little sister was born and I became a mommy's helper. I began to Mother's help at the age of 11 for some families in my town and since then have babysat children from age 2 weeks to 12 years old. I am very close to my family and love to be an active part of my younger and older siblings lives. I live in D.C. while attending nursing school and I love all of my studies. I love music of all sorts and I enjoy cooking, singing and experiencing new things. I am not fluent, but I have taken Spanish classes all through my primary and secondary schools and simply need practice to reach fluency.

After completing an Au Pair programme over the summer, I hope to come back and finish my two years left at my University to become a Registered Nurse. I hope to leave the program with new and exciting experiences, memories and to be better versed in the cultures of the world.
